James is a graduate of the University of Guelph where he received a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Economics in Industry and Finance where he expanded upon his understanding of how businesses and the marketplace function. He has also had a keen interest in computers since a young age and has been involved with running various online businesses involving game server hosting, web hosting, web design/development, and VOIP hosting.

James is part of Sparkrock's IT team and is a Technical Consultant and IT Administrator. His role as Technical Consultant is to help clients take full advantage of Sparkrock products in their IT environment during deployment, and helping them maintain a stable and secure IT environment after deployment. His role as an IT Administrator is to support the Sparkrock Team with a stable and secure IT environment. If a team member has a problem, James is typically one of the first people to hear about it.
